Senior Library Assistant - User Services (CRA3)
Would you like to join the team providing user services in a busy research
led University Library?
If so, we invite you to apply for this post. Your duties will include user
service activities, such as the issue, return and renewal of books,
handling routine user enquiries and servicing the Closed Stack, with
specific responsibility in one or more areas of administration which may
include reservations, inter-library loans and photocopying services. You
will also undertake membership and registration duties for a large and
diverse user community.
Together with previous experience of work in a customer service
environment, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
and be able to relate well to the needs of library users. The ability to
work accurately with attention to detail is essential as is basic
competence with the use of computers and keyboarding skills. Previous
library experience would be advantageous.
Starting salary in the range £14,174 - £16,072 (incl. L.A.)
