The following vacancies have arisen within Library Services, University
College London:
Cataloguers - 12 month appointments
Two one-year contracts are available for candidates looking to gain
practical experience of cataloguing. Duties will involve creation and
enhancement of bibliographic records for periodicals and monographs. Both
posts will be based at Wickford, Essex after initial training in Central
London.
Senior Library Assistant (ref 16/0001)
The postholder will be expected to deputise for the Head of Record
Enhancement in her absence. The successful applicant will have a
qualification (first degree or postgraduate) in Librarianship/Information
Studies and experience of original cataloguing. Experience of supervising
staff would be an advantage. Salary within the CRA4 range £16,072 - £18,268
pa inclusive of London Weighting.
Library Assistant (ref 17/0001)
The successful applicant will have good communication and keyboard skills
and the ability to work under pressure. A qualification (first degree or
postgraduate in Librarianship/Information Studies and cataloguing experience
would be an advantage. Salary within the CRA3 range £14,174 - £16,072 pa
inclusive of London Weighting.
