Please forward this message to anyone attending the Millennium training
in Bangor who may not be on this list.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The training will start at 9 am and finish at 5 pm on both days. Morning
coffee/tea (10.30 am), buffet lunch (12.30 pm) and afternoon tea/coffee
(3.30 pm) will be provided.
The training will take place in Adeilad Deiniol (Science Library) on
Garth Road/Deiniol Road (A5122) between the main post office and the
railway station (no.6 on the map available at the following - the colour
version seems to be inaccessible at present).

If you are arriving by car the entrance to the car park is on Sackville
Road at the back of the building. If you are coming from the A5/A55
you have to drive past the building and turn sharp left at the mini-
roundabout into Sackville Road. There are three entrances to the car
park - two of them without a barrier and one with. When I checked last
the barrier was not in operation.
If you are arriving by train and staying in a hall of residence (no.1
on the same map), turn left as you come out of the station, walk to a
mini-roundabout (Bangor is full of mini-roundabouts!) and turn left by
the church. The entrance to the Ffriddoedd Site is the second turning
on the right past a couple of telephone boxes. The reception is a
two-storey building on the left at the end of the first block of rooms
opposite the sign which reads "Welcome Bangor". The reception should
be staffed 24 hours a day.
We are organising a group meal on the evening of 1st and 2nd for anyone
staying overnight. Julia Burke should have contacted you already but
if anyone has not replied to Julia and is interested in joining us
please contact Julia ([log in to unmask]) or myself.
I look forward to seeing you in Bangor.
