Since update D we have had a problem whereby the HOUR until which an hourly loan
has been renewed is not displayed on the web opac. The screen says, e.g. "due
13/02/2001 17:00, RENEWED now due 14/02/2001" when in fact it's been renewed to
10am on 14th. This led to a couple of problems when people returned books at the
end of the day, claiming they didn't know that the book was in fact due by a
particular time earlier that day. We reported this to the helpdesk before
Christmas, and in the meantime have disallowed hourly loans from self-renewals.
This obviously means extra work for us, and having to override renewal blocks
for every hourly renewal etc, so we are keen for them to resolve the problem
asap!
Is this the sort of problem you've been experiencing? (by the way, the hour due
DOES display if the patron subsequently sorts the checked out items by due date)
