Hola a todos
Few lines to inform of something really interesting, for those who are involved with Spanish language;
this Wednesday, 14th of feb at 5.30pm, the Spanish writer Álvaro Pombo will be in the Cervantes presenting his latest novel Cielo
raso (Open Skies). During his talk Alvaro will also speak about his experiences when he was living in England. The talk will last
for 60 minutes.
Alvaro Pombo licenciado en Filosofía y Letras (Universidad de Madrid) and Bachelor of Arts (Birbeck College, London) He was living
in England from 1966 to 1977. He has written several books of poetry and also he has an extense narrative work, and all these have
made of Pombo one of the figures of the contemporary Spanish literature. He has been awarded with several literary awards, and his
books are translated to English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Greek.
The talk will be in Spanish but there will be summaries and questions in English.
