MSc in Health Promotion at King's- supervisor is one of the dissertation
markers the other is internal who marks independently. Grades then compared
and negotiated if initial grades are different. Borderlines, distinctions
and a sample of the rest got to the external examiner.

Subject:
Morning,
In your experiences, with regard to dissertations at Masters level, does (or
should) the tutor/supervisor mark and grade the work? Or are (or should) two
others called in to mark the work akin to the PhD approach?
I would be most interested to hear any comments
with thanks
