Morning all!
As many of you know, terminology development is one of the key features of
FISH work. In this context, I thought many of you might be interested to see
the papers in the latest issue of JoDI - the Journal of Digital Information
- which this month focusses on thesaurus issues, especially how multiple
thesauri can be harnessed together. The papers are on the web (links below)
and can be viewed freely.
NKOS is an international organisation of groups such as ours. I am keen that
FISH should have some formal participation in NKOS - do any FISH list
members have contacts in NKOS? How do we get involved?

Subject: Special Issue of Journal of Digital Information focuses on NKOS
Dear NKOS Folks,
Apologies if you have already received notification of this.
Congratulations
to Traugott, and members of NKOS who contributed to this special issue of
JoDI. It is a wonderful contribution to the literature on this topic. --
