I have read Marx extensively, and I cannot really recall where he stated
"produced a more materialist theory of historical change, stating that
change is repetition". I would be most grateful to read this in more
context.
It looks to me as though you are confusing the notion of 'change is
repetition' attirubuted by Marx whereas this sound pretty much like
Heraclitus('you cannot wash yourself twice in the river')which Marx may well
quoted in the context of some other points he was making.
Could you confirm this?
