Dear EE Colleagues & Friends,

Mark your calendar for May 8th!

We are writing to let you know that Bill Stapp is going to be honored on
Tuesday May 8, 2001 for his many accomplishments. Earth Force and General
Motors are hosting a "Celebration of Youth Saving our Water Resources: a
Dinner Honoring the Work of Bill Stapp" at the Michigan League Ballroom in
Ann Arbor, Michigan. With your help, we are hoping to attract state,
national and international environmental and education leaders, Michigan and
national dignitaries and elected officials, River Organizations, GREEN
partners, Corporate sponsors, philanthropic/community minded individuals,
non-profits with environmental interests, University of Michigan colleagues
of Bill's and former students and benefactors of his programs.

There are several ways you can help make this a night to remember:

*Publicity to colleagues and friends*
. Help get the word out ASAP to our EE colleagues and friends
so as many people as possible who wish to honor Bill can participate
in these festivities.

*Add your voice *
.  Send a message, photo, and/or something special to
  include in the "Commemorative Program Book."

*Strengthen Support for GREEN *
.  Many of you have excellent fund raising/networking
skills and know people of influence in our field,
politicians, other professionals, and leaders at the
local, national, regional, and global levels. Check
your networks and contact your favorite sponsors
to organize a sponsorship for Bill's dinner  Sponsorships
are available at $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000 levels. Proceeds
of the event will benefit GREEN and their environmental partners
(watershed organizations).

*The Personal Touch *
.  Come join us in Ann Arbor and help celebrate!
Tickets are $75 per person, $45 for students.
