Statistics in the Department of
Mathematics. This post is particularly intended to support and develop
graduate teaching in Statistics.
Candidates with research interests in statistics applied either to the
environment or to social science are
especially encouraged to apply. For appointment at Senior Lecturer level an
excellent research record is
essential and the person appointed must be able to provide academic
leadership in Statistics. At Lecturer
level the person appointed should have demonstrable potential for research
and teaching in Statistics.

The salary for the post at Senior Lecturer level will be on the scale
£32,510 - £36,740 per annum. The
salary for the post at Lecturer A level will be on the scale £18,731 -
£23,256 per annum and at Lecturer B
level will be on the scale £24,227 - £30,967 per annum. Salary will be
commensurate with the successful
applicant's qualifications, experience and achievements.
