I have several times followed up on announcements and tried to contact
the speaker for a summary or copy of the overheads. What might be useful
would be if announcements carried the email address of the speaker, so
that contacting her or him might be easier. Might it be an idea to ask
people posting lecture announcements to allstat to provide email contact
for those interested but too far away to attend?
