ALTHOUGH WE ARE A LOT SMALLER THAN YOU WE DO HAVE 10
CEREMONIES IN THE FIRST WEEK OF JULY
Our ceremonies' format are currently driven by how graduates
are ordered in our ceremony booklet, and we usually

OUR CEREMONY BOOKLET HAS STUDENTS LISTED IN ORDER OF TYPE OF
DEGREE AND WITHIN THAT IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER. THEY ARE
LISTED WITH THEIR FULL NAME, SUBJECTS AND GRADE (WITH
DISTINTION IF APPLICABLE). THIS IS DONE BY OUR COMPUTER
OFFICER WHO PROGRAMMES OUR STUDENT DATABASE TO PRINT LISTS.

IF YOU THINK IT WOULD BE HELPFUL YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO
COME TO KEELE. OBVIOUSLY I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SPEND ANY
TIME WITH YOU ON THE DAY AND KEELE'S CEREMONIES ARE ALSO
MUCH SMALLER.

WE RAN A WEB SITE FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST YEAR WHICH WAS A
MASSIVE SUCCESS PARTICULARLY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WHO
HAD DIFFICULTIES RECEIVING THEIR INVITATION TO GRADUATE BY
MAIL. WE HAVE PDF FILES FOR ALL FORMS. THEY CAN PRINT
THESE OFF, FILL THEM IN AND FAX THEM TO US.
We are also considering "on-line" ordering of tickets for
our ceremonies - has anyone else tried (or rejected) this

I WOULD BE VERY INTERESTED IN THIS. WE CURRENTLY HAVE A
SYSTEM WHEREBY STUDENTS AUTOMATICALLY GET TWO TICKETS AND
CAN ASK FOR UP TO TWO MORE BY TICKING THE APPROPRIATE BOX ON
THEIR REPLY FORM. TICKETS ARE GIVEN ON A FIRST COME FIRST
SERVED BASIS AND IT WORKS QUITE WELL FOR THE MAJORITY OF
STUDENTS. WE ALWAYS GET A HANDFUL WHO DEMAND EXTRA TICKETS
FOR PARTICULAR REASONS AND WE DEAL WITH THEM INDIVIDUALLY.
WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO SEND ME ANY INFORMATION YOU GATHER ON
THIS ON-LINE ORDERING OF TICKETS PLEASE?
