Subject: Lipase or pancreatic amylase
This lab. currently offers pancreatic amylase, our lab. up the road (following Trust merger) offers lipase. I'm in the process of rationalising tests offered across both sites -should it be lipase or panc. amylase?? EQA is another problem -currently RIQAS is used for lipase but we are in a group of 1 out of a total of 178. NEQAS does not offer p-amylase....views and opinions would be welcome on which is the the best test! Maybe we should try total amylase again.....
