In keeping with the developing use of this bulletin board as an analyser discussion group, I would be interested if any users of Immmuno1 analysers have noticed a similar problem / here's a potential problem if you haven't.
We have just changed to a new lot of oestradiol kits. Old lot No U55802; New lot no T57331.
Our internal QC (Biorad Liquicheck Lot 40581, 40582 and 40853 usual observed levels 306, 1827 and 5290 respectively) results have increased by 17-18% , 5-6% and 7-8% respectively.
Repeats of patient samples and NEQAS samples have not changed significantly.
WE assume this is a Matrix effect affectring the QC only and are sourcing different QC material from elsewhere and have informed Bayer but has anyone else had the same problem??
