Ogilvie's syndrome (acute colonic pseudo-obstruction)
is associated with many predisposing factors
(pharmacologic and metabolic). Electrolyte
disturbances including Hypokalaemia, hyponatraemia,
hypocalcaemia, hypophosphataemia and hypomagnesaemia
have all been incriminated.
