National Learning Network. An FE related thing to promote ILT in colleges.
Has funded a range of things, e.g. internet links for colleges, ILT
Champion training, commissioned a range of centrally produced content which
will be made freely available to FE. Had quite a big impact in FE. Various
partners, including JISC, becta, FEFC (as it was), etc. Developed to spend
£74 million being made available to FE for ILT over 1999 - 2002. For those
really interested, there's the nln site at www.nln.ac.uk, and a
presentation on the NLn at:

Hope this helps our HE colleagues.
