No bones, but clearly recognizeable guinea pigs are shown on two 17.th century
paintings:
1. "Tierstück" from David de Coninck (1636-1699), Collections of Art, Weimar,
Museum in the Castle.
2. "Landscape of Paradise" from Jan Breughel (painted 1613/1615), Budapest
Szepmüvestzeti Museum.
