We use the WAKO NEFA kit (non esterfied free fatty acid) this is fully enzymatic and easily automated.
Roche also have a method that runs on the Hitachi analysers.
In Japan I believe they run FFA routinely with cholesterol.
What controls are labs using for FFA?

Dear Colleagues,
Can anyone have experience on methods for measurement of plasma/serum total
free fatty acids? Preferably being simple enzymatic reaction.
Thank you
