Dear friends!
I would like to address it to all members of our virtual
archaeozoological club. It is seems to me that it would be good if we
would informed each other about our new publications and direction of
researches. Certainly each of us has keeps an eye to bibliography
information (as far as possible!) and to new publications in
archaeological zoology field. However information interchange directly
in our community would be much more effective and, this is main, MUCH
MORE OPERATIVE.
To not be unsubstantiated, I am beginning from myself.
My recent publication in English
" Zoomorphological statuettes from eneolithic layers at Ilgynly-Depe and
Altyn-Depe in South Turkmenia. // Proceedings of IV Intern. ASWA
Simposium 1998, Paris. Paris 2000. pp.321 - 327."
(Is printed about 1,5 months ago)
Is devoted to opportunities of identification of statuettes of
animals from eneolithic and bronze layers (second half of IV mill. B.C.
- last quarter of III mill. B.C.) of three settlements of Kopeth-Dag
foothills. The text of this article can be found in the Internet.

I hope, other colleagues will respond to my offer and we shall know more
about a direction of researches and publications each other.
With best wishes for all participants,
Alexey Kasparov, St.-Petersburg.
