Dear John
I'm in London with Kath on the 20th so if you are there, we may see
you at the Mathemagic at the Angel.
On the critical numeracy materials proposal, one of the BCSP workers
has some enthusiastic knowledge of Paulo Freire and is keen to think of
Community Statistics as a route to critical numeracy. He (Dave Moore)
will respond to you by this Friday as you suggest, expanding your
paragraphs into something you can discuss with him and with DfEE
and RSS and others.
Separately, Mike Quiggin from the Bradford Resource Centre plans to
propose to RadStats that they fund with £5,000 servicing a Radical
Science network of contacts for campaigners to use for support.
