Fellow list-members:
A colleague of mine has asked whether I know of any modern critical
work on bodily fluids (blood, but especially MILK) in relation to
female martyrs and their cult. Bynum's work doesn't really talk
about the martyrs, but about later medieval saints. Any ideas?
