The [CIPFA] Committee on Public Library Statistics is considering an
approach later this week which would have this effect. If the approach is
accepted by CPLS, a formal approach to RESOURCE will be made by CIPFA. The
solution envisaged would also contribute some of the missing indicators
needed for the Draft Public Library Standards. It is expected that the
necessary data would be collected through the public library statistics and
an additional PLUS questionnaire.
