Hello everyone
This is advance notice to let you know that from MONDAY 27 NOVEMBER, the
address for sending messages to Eurotalk will change from
[log in to unmask]
to
[log in to unmask]
This is because Mailbase (based at the University of Newcastle, UK) lost
the contract to run these free list services earlier this year. The
service has been taken over by the CLRC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory
based in Oxfordshire, UK.
** There is no need for you to do anything as a list member other than
use the new address when you send messages to Eurotalk after 27th
November **
I will send out a further message next week reminding everyone about
this, but don't worry if you accidentally use the mailbase address after
the 27th. Mailbase will forward messages to jiscmail for a short period
after the 27th.
If anyone would like further information, please contact either myself
or the other listowner for Eurotalk, Ian Mayfield at
[log in to unmask]
I am told that the new service will provide other facilities for list
members such as the ability to change settings via a website etc. I'll
let you know more when the transfer has been completed.
Apologies for any inconvenience and best wishes to all
Catherine
