Hello everyone
I've finally had a chance to investigate JISCmail which now hosts
Eurotalk. It offers a number of features to members which include the
ability to:
* read and search Eurotalk's archived messages from September 1998;
* change your 'settings' (eg set messages to come in bulk once a day,
temporarily suspend your mail etc).
If you'd like to investigate further, go to
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/eurotalk.html
All the options are listed there.
Please note - if you want to change your settings, you will need a
password. To obtain this, do the following:
1. From the initial page, go to 'Join or leave JISCmail list (or change
settings)' - third option down.
2. Click on 'login with your LISTSERV password' (second paragraph).
3. Click on 'get a new LISTSERV password' - and follow the
instructions.
You will need to confirm your password before you can change your
settings. JISCmail will contact you to inform you how to do this in a
separate e-mail message. Once you've confirmed, you'll be able to
change your settings.
I hope this is clear! I must admit, it took me a few goes to fathom it
out. If anyone wants any further info including documentation, go to
the JISCmail website at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk - or contact me.
Best wishes to all
Catherine
