Are you anywhere near the Abbey of Whalley? (A Cistercian abbey
in either eastern Lancashire or western Yorkshire) I'm curious
because I went through some of the 19th century transcriptions of
area historical records years ago and found that abbey and my
last name often appearing together.
I've never been to the U.K., but I always pay attention when
I see this area mentioned.
