Somewhere in Young's _Drama of the Medieval Church_, he mentions a replica
of a dove (as Holy Spirit) being lowered from the roof of Tournai on the
feast of the Annunciation. At Parma, Gabriel himself (in the form of a
little boy) was lowered from the cathedral's vault. Precursor to Peter
Pan?
