Outreach Worker - Bangladeshi community
Fixed Term Contract for 9 months
#19 101 - #20 364 p.a. pro rata
18 hours per week
We require and outreach worker to work with librdary staff to develop a programme of reader development with bangladeshi people aged 16-25 in the Hyde area.
It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of contemporary writers and writing, ICT skills and the ability to organise and manage promotional events. You must also have knowledge of the Bangladeshi culture and be able to speak Sylheti and writee Bangali.
Some evening work is required and a flexible approach to delivering services is expected.
