Dear Librarian;
In their latest meeting the Indonesian Assembly has ordered reshuffling of
the Cabinet in Indonesia. As part of this shuffle, Bakosurtanal is being
taken over by the military agency Pusurtaabri, apparently fairly quickly,
with the military retaining complete control of the agency. We have been
told by our contacts within Bakosurtanal that this bodes poorly for
continued supply of topographic maps.
We currently have nearly complete stock of Indonesian topographic maps,
including the nearly 500 "new" sheets that we got on our last trip (Nusa
Tenggara, East Timor, Java). We will shortly have another trip to obtain
additional stock. If anyone has any interest in these maps, please let us
know as soon as possible - this is not asking for a commitment, but an
expression of interest.
Complete index maps are available on our web site at:

Thank you,
Russell Guy
