As a coincidence, our bookstore received a copy of John Hogue's book
yesterday. So I took the opportunity to peruse it. The "prophecies" seem
restricted to short and very ambiguous snippets to which Hogue has added a
papal name and biography. On occasion I could see some relationship between
the snippet and the person to whom it supposedly belonged. As a rule,
however, I found it all rather vapid.
