You are quite correct. Bill East was confirming the appearance of both
beasts in Ps 91: 13 ("You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young
lion and the serpent you will trample under foot" RSV), provided you
construe Wigglesworth's (and ps's) "serpent" as "dragon" and connect it
with that of Rev. In later editions of The Day of Doom, Wigglesworth
provided marginal citations to scriptural allusions--except for the one I'm
looking at. Thus I wondered about iconographic, bestiary, or other
depictions of both beasts on Christ's left hand at Judgment.
