Hello,
(Apologies to those who've already seen this--only received this issue
yesterday.) In TLS, June 30, pp 34-5, there is a notice by H. R. Woudhuysen
of a remarkable sale (library of William Foyle). Get out the bankbooks,
for among many other wonders he notes "a hitherto unrecorded manuscript of
the translation of the Psalms" by the Sidneys (estimate 500-800 pounds)...
What do we (collectively) know about this?
