LECTURER IN HEALTH SERVICES RESEARCH.
The Royal Devon & Exeter Healthcare NHS Trust is contracted by the Regional
Health Authority to provide a Research & Development Support Unit (RDSU) to
promote high quality Health Services Research in the geographical area.
The existing team consists of a Director, Senior Lecturer/Co-ordinator,
full- and part-time Lecturers, administrative staff and several Research
Fellows.
The Trust now invites applicants for the post of Lecturer (0.7 WTE) for the
Unit. The appointee will act as a catalyst to facilitate high quality
health services research, play a key role in the delivery of relevant
educational initiatives and pursue a personal research programme that is
complementary to the research activities of the Unit.
It is envisaged that the appointee will have a higher degree in a relevant
discipline, a background and training in health services research with an
understanding of the reformed NHS, a relevant publication record and good
interpersonal skills. Car driver essential. Salary range for Lecturer A:
£17,238 to £22,579 and for Lecturer B: £23,521 to £30,065 pro rata.
Allocation to grade will depend upon qualifications and experience.
