Further to the message of a couple of weeks ago the Royal Statistical
Society has now disposed of the majority of the books it had placed for
sale. HOWEVER there are still a large number of periodicals, reports,
pamphlets and other materials available for sale.
A list of periodicals being sold can be viewed on the Society's website

www.rss.org.uk/about/disposal.html. (Please note: a number of the
periodicals on this list will have already been sold).
Amongst the other materials for sale are the following:
WHO epidemiological + vital statistics reports/Demographic yearbooks and
WHO classifications
United Nations reports/UN monthly bulletin of statistics
Ministry of Health reports for major cities
Army and its Health reports
Ministry of Works - post war planning
Ministry of Food bulletins
Metereological Office reports
Metropolitan Water Board reports 1950s
City accounts/finance/Abstracts of Statistics, from the mid-20th century
onwards, for UK cities including Birmingham, Manchester and Nottingham
DEDEP Gazette
British Business
Trade & Industry Journal
Iron & Steel Statistics
Overseas Trade Accounts

World Power Conference statistics
Fertility Surveys for various Asian, African and Caribbean countries

The Society is also disposing of boxes of pamphlets by prominent
statisticians of the late 19th and 20th centuries.
While the Society is not giving the above materials away we are only
seeking small amounts for them.

The deadline for the sale has been extended until 3rd JULY AT THE VERY
LATEST. The unit will be closing later that week by which time all
materials will have to be collected.
PS The Society also has up to 1900ft of grey Delta Edge system steel
shelving to sell. All reasonable offers - for part or total length -
accepted.
