Topic: Perceived understandings of the relationship between air pollution
and Human Health.
Outline: Despite much media interest in this area, the general public and
the medical community alike often poorly understand the relationship between
ill health and specific air pollutants. This project will examine the
perceptions of such relationships and the associated risk factors for
community-based health professionals and the general public using a variety
of qualitative and quantitative methods. Applicants should have a first or
upper second class honours degree in Geography or a related subject.
