Can anyone direct me to a descriptive or annotated catalogue listing
manuscripts containing saints' lives written in Latin and/or English? Is
there such a database on-line or in hard copy? Ideally, I would like to be
able to look up a saint, say Guthlac, and find references to all extant
Latin versions of his vita as well as Old English versions and what is known
about the manuscripts--author, where they are, editions, etc. Saints' lives
are out of my usual realm of inquiry so any help, both on-line and off-,
will be appreciated.
Regards,
