Possibly but I think that Catholics and Orthodox keep his feast on 20
July. In the Balkans, Elijah is not associated with water, as far as I
know. His domain is that of lightning and fire, and I can remember
being scared witless during our first year in a Serbian monastery when a
giant tree outside our cell was split by lightning on Saint Elijah's
day!!
