Dear Salvador,

In these times, attachments are suspect. There fore I am sending this list 
of fifteen village churches in Denmark as part of this letter. You will see 
that the wall paintings are dated 1425-1550, well withing your time frame. 
I am quite certain that there are more depictions of the BVM with the bare 
breast in the Catalogue of Danish Wall Paintings edited by Knud Banning and 
published by Akademisk Forlag in Copenhagen.

ELMELUNDE. c.1480. Elmelunde. 7-50. Judgment. Sect 1, east arch.
Christ, with cross nimbus, lilies left and sword right from
mouth, hands head high, palms out, bleeding from hands, side and
feet, seated on a rainbow, feet resting on rainbow, orb of earth
beneath lower rainbow, enclosed in mandorla, blue background.
Above, left, the sun, right, the moon. Below sun and moon, one
either side, an angel with trumpet. Left, BVM, with crown, left
hand outstretched towards Christ, right hand shows bare breast,
kneeling. Below, an angel with souls rising. Right, John B.,
with nimbus, hands shoulder high, palms facing, kneels. Below,
souls arise.

GISLINGE. c.1480. 9-73. Judgment. Sect 1, east arch. Christ,
with cross nimbus, lilies left, sword right, from mouth, hands
shoulder high, palms out, seated on a rainbow, feet on orb of
earth, showing wounds in hands, side and feet, enclosed in
mandorla. Left, angel with trumpet, scroll. <i>Surgite mortui et
venite ad iudicium dei</i>. BVM, with nimbus, showing bare breast
with right hand, extends left hand towards Christ, kneeling.
Below, dead arise with hands, palms together in prayer. Right,
John B., with nimbus, clad in skins, hands, palms together in
prayer, kneels. Below, a devil seizes a soul. Far right, angel
with trumpet, scroll, same text as on left. Text below. <i>Vos
omnes qui transitis per viam, attendite et videte si est dolor
similis sicut dolor meus</i>.

GUDUM. c.1550. 10-61. Judgment. East arch, left. Top, God,
crowned, orb in left hand, in heaven with saved. Center, Christ,
with nimbus, hands shoulder high, palms out, showing wounds in
hands and feet, seated on a rainbow, feet on orb surmounted by
cross. Either side of head, an angel, far left and far right,
angels with trumpets. Left, BVM, crowned, right hand showing
bare breast, right hand with scroll. Maria. Right, John B.,
hands, palms together in prayer, kneels, in skins. Below rainbow
of seat of Christ, left and right, dead arise.

HALD. c.1520.11-19. Judgment. Choir, east arch. Christ, with
cross nimbus, right hand, three fingers extended, in blessing,
left hand shoulder high, palm out, lilies left, sword, right
from mouth, bleeding from hands, side and feet, seated on
rainbow, feet on orb surmounted by cross. Above head of Christ,
right and left, an angel with trumpet. Left, BVM, with nimbus,
right hand showing bare breast, left hand out stretched, palm
up, kneeling. Right, John B., with nimbus, hands, palms
together, in prayer, clad in skins, kneeling.

HJEMBAEK. c.1475. 11-78. Judgment. Sect 1, east arch. Center,
Christ, with cross nimbus, lilies left and sword right from
mouth, right hand head high, left hand waist high, showing
wounds in hands, side and feet, seated on a rainbow, feet on orb
surmounted by cross, scroll, left, from mouth, <i>Venite benedicti
patris mei precipite regnum</i>. Right, from mouth, <i>Ite vos
maledicti in ignem eternum</i>. Lower left, saved enter gate of
Heaven, greeted by Peter who holds key. Building shows towers
and leaded windows. Saved include pope and tonsured figures.
Left, BVM, with nimbus and unbound hair, bare breast in right
hand, left hand held head high, palm out. Above head of Christ,
a star, below feet, dead arise. Right, John B., hands, palms
together, in prayer, kneeling.

KONGSTED c.1500. Brarup Workshop 15-94. Judgment. Sect 3,
east arch. Center, Christ, with cross nimbus, lilies left, sword
right, from mouth, hands shoulder high, palms out, wounds seen
on hands and side, rest lost. Scroll left, from mouth, text.
<i>Venite benedicti patris mei precipite regnum eternum</i>. Scroll,
right from mouth, text. <i>Ite maledicti in ignem eternam</i>. Left
and right above head, angel with trumpet. Scroll, text. <i>Surgite
mortui venite ad iduicium</i>. Left, group, with nimbi, including
BVM who holds bare breast in left hand. Right, group with nimbi,
including John B, clad in skins, hands, palms together, in
prayer.

MARIE MADGALENE c.1425-49.17-9. Judgment. Sect 1, east arch.
Christ, with cross nimbus, lilies Left and sword right, from
mouth, hands shoulder high, palms out, showing wounds in hands,
side and feet, seated on a rainbow, feet on orb. Left, BVM, with
nimbus, bare breast in right hand, scroll, text. Ecce ubera mea
quae lactasti. Above BVM, devil has chain around waist of soul
and drags the soul away. Left, below rainbow on which Christ
sits, a devil with wooden leg has hold of soul with left hand,
raises club with right. Right, John B., with nimbus, hands,
palms together, in prayer, kneels, scroll, text. Juste judex.
Far right, devil carries soul on back, head down, held by leg.
second devil stands on soul and raises club to strike.

MARVEDE c.1500.17-25. Judgment. East arch. Christ, with nimbus,
lilies left and sword right from mouth, hands shoulder high,
palms out, showing wounds in hands, side and feet, seated on a
rainbow, feet on orb. Far left, dead arise. Left, BVM, with nimbus,
bare breast in right hand, scroll, text. <i>Ecce ubera qui

MOERKOEV. c.1450. Isefjord Workshop. 17-66. Judgment. West
sect, west arch, left. Left, dead arise, one a crowned woman.
