I use the Data 3.5 software (the TreeAge software)and I am happy with it.
I know of a couple more free resources.
One, an Excel add-in titled, "treeplan". This program is about 330 KB size,
and a working version is downloadable free from
www.treeplan.com
Comes with installation instruction and documentation.
The second one is developed the Department of Decision Sciences at U
Pittsburgh, titled, "Genie".
