This article is really one illustrating a struggle between evolutionists and
creationists in the United States. They are giving the word "Design" a
different meaning.
It relates back to the early history of America and religious puritans. They
left Europe hoping to establish a world where they could base a community on
their type of views.
But unfortunately the new ideas of science did not have national boundaries
and eventually caught up with them. Although the ideas of science regarding
evolution have long ago replaced creationism throughout the world, the United
States is still struggling to universally accept evolution theory because of
it history as a refuge for Christian fundamentalism.
I n my view this article is outside the boundary of what should be discussed
by DRS. I have seen a number of anthropology NGs recently destroyed by mail
bombing from religious fundamentalists and right wing types.
My understanding of Divine Design is purely from this world.
