Apologies for cross posting.
We are planning to open Liverpool Central Library on Sundays. To help in
planning we would be interested to hear from other authorities with
experience of Sunday opening, particularly from any who open a main central
library on a Sunday.
How do levels of use on Sundays compare with weekdays and Saturdays? Is
there any area of service more in demand than others - e.g. lending,
reference and information, local studies, children's?
Do you have separate Sunday staffing, or use only existing experienced
library staff, or a mix of the two?
Any advice gratefully received.
