I think you make a very valid point but perhaps you approach the fitness
world from a different direction than the majority. I believe that most
people see exercise as a necessary but unwelcome chore. The people who come
up with these toys and classes are simply making exercise more palatable.
Providing that these distractions are not harmful then I think they must be
seen in a positive light.
I think the ultimate irony is that as our society has developed more and more
labour saving devices it has had to develop more and more labour making
devices to ensure our good health. I think I've read a quote along these
lines from a George Orwell book!
Anyway, must get back to my "abdominiser", the battery needs changing.
