First, I would like to thank everyone who helped me find daily lists of
saints, your advice was very helpful.
Now, could anyone help me locate "Ordo Romanus XV?" I actually had the honor
of borrowing Ordo Romanus I from my professor in England, and it was most
interesting. It told all about the origins of the Catholic Mass and how they
came into being.
I'm looking for Ordo Romanus XV because there is a section in there written
by one Mabillon called "Deathbed Ceremonies of a Pope". I've looked all over
the Internet and old bookstores but can't find it anywhere. Actually, if
anyone knows who might have or where I could find an entire set of Ordo
Romanus, that would be WONDERFUL.
Later today I'm going to try the Boston ARchdiocese to see if they may have
it, but although I am an "unofficial" papal scholar, and not in a seminary
of any kind and only have an MA in Medieval History, I'm not sure if I could
get access to their libraries (I'd probably never leave if I got in anyway.)
Any help would be most appreciated,
Thanks,
WEndy Reardon
Pope Joan II
