Forgive me, I confess to being a conservator and a writer who's planning to
have a little fun with the Shroud of Turin this summer. Can anyone tell me
what the form/style of the Confession would have been in the French church
in the mid 14 Th. century, o say 1345, or refer me to a source? A good book
on the brisk trade in relics might be nice -- if there is such a thing.
