Mark's message made me finally pluck up courage and send this mail.
Hello - my name is Katherine Phillips and I am a Politics Philosophy and
History student at Birkbeck College - University of London, UK.
Between 1986 and 1988 I worked in Paraguay as a Librarian (my current
profession) in a Paraguayan NGO. During the time I was there some choral
music written by a Jesuit was found and performed in the Cathedral. I have
often kicked myself for not keeping a diary of my time spent in paraguay and
in particular of who the composer could have been. The performer (Amambay
Cardoso Ocampo) has I believe since died and I have lost touch with her
brother. Does anyone know if this could have been Zipoli ? I know it's a
bit outside the group's remit but at least I have been prompted to come out
of the shadows !
At the present time my particular interests are death, marriage and diaries
- just for starters.
Many thanks to the Doctor for his e-greetings -
yours Katherine
