Speaking of Lives of the Irish Saints, there's a multi-volume work
that might be of more use than BNE--John O'Hanlon's Lives of the
Irish Saints. It was published before Plummer (c1875) and O'Hanlon
draws on a variety of sources in his work, which has entries on
hundreds (thousands?) of saints (both "Irish" and "saints" are used
pretty loosely). At times his synopses of the Lives are a direct
translation of portions of otherwise untranslated vitae which are
also found in Plummer's VSH, and he also had great interest in
ecclesiastical ruins, so maybe there's even something about Agha in
there. Fintan Munnu's "Life" would be in the October volume (10/21).
