I've read portions and loved what I read. But I am in NO position to
verify or validate what she says. However, one of the greatest values of
the lists I belong to is the fact that so many different opinions of
worthy scholars co-exist. Most of my publication has been in (gasp!)
20th-century lit; I am a recent convert to medieval studies. I've had
papers come back with one reviewer ecstatic (like St. Teresa) and the
other, holding his/her nose. These lists have helped me greatly to cope
with criticism.
Best,
Kathryn
