Jennifer,
You asked about medieval cults of devotion to St. Joseph. I am writing my
dissertation on the rise of devotion to Joseph in western Europe in the
later Middle Ages. My dissertation focuses more on writings about Joseph
than on popular cults, and little scholarship has been produced on those
cults, but to make a beginning I can recommend the following titles. If
you have other questions about Joseph, I would enjoy discussing them with
you. May I ask what is the source of your interest in the saint?
Best,
