Have any libraries developed a policy for acquiring e-books for their users
yet? With Stephen King publishing his latest story solely in an electronic
format I was wondering how libraries were going to deal with acquiring,
loaning and managing such electronic items. Any ideas? Will library users
even expect libraries to provide them with access to such resources?
You can download the Riding the Bullet by Stephen King for free at Glassbook
http://bookstore.glassbook.com/store/product.asp?sku=0743204670
and interestingly the same company is offering software that will manage
this whole process for libraries. See
