Hi all,
I have decided to put my book "Celtic Improvisations" on line. It
focuses on the coinage of the Coriosolite tribe from Cotes d'Armor,
and uses N. V. L. Rybot's accurate die reconstructions of the coins of
the la Marquanderie hoard from Jersey.
It is the most exhaustive typological analysis of a Celtic coinage
ever undertaken, and was ten years in the making. It contains a level
of description that has not existed prior to this. I have reclassified
the coins and constructed a chronology of die production rather than
coin production. My method should be applicable to other classes of
artifacts, provided that enough examples exist.
The first part of the catalogue is at:

The rest of the catalogue, and other chapters will follow. Comments
would be appreciated.
Regards,
John Hooker
