Dear Francesco,
I have no experience in Finite Element experiments, but may be
informations about analog models (analog materials) will help you.
see -McClay (1976) "The rheology of plasticine" Tectonophysics, 33 p. T7
to T15

pure constrictional conditions" Journal of Structural Geology, 7 p.1055
